DESCRIPTION:Whimsical Slip Cast Creations!   \nLearn the ceramic technique of Slip Casting to create whimsical vases and vessels inspired by Wayne White’s word paintings\, on view on at the KMA.  \nSlip casting is a ceramic forming technique where a liquid clay mixture\, known as “slip\,” is poured into a porous plaster mold\, often used in dishware\, this technique allows artists and craftspeople to create multiples of the same object.   \nThis class will focus on mold making and using various techniques to decorate the surface of the work.  \nWhimsical Slip Cast Creations is beginner friendly and can accommodate all skill levels.   \nClass Time: 1pm-4pm Tuesdays and Thursdays in May  \nMay 5th\, May 7th\, May 12th\, May 14th\, May 19th\, May 21st\, May 26th\, May 28th  \nCost: Non-Member: $300 Member: $250  \n\nSpots are limited!
