Exhibition NOTES
Kramer Gallery: Volunteers at the KMA
Welcome to this special exhibition dedicated to the volunteers from the Knoxville Museum of Art. Join us in celebrating their creativity, passion, and unwavering commitment to the world of art in our community and throughout the surrounding East Tennessee area. The KMA Volunteer Corps represents a substantial portion of the support that keeps the Knoxville Museum of Art free and open to the public. Volunteers generously donate their time and talents to every department within the KMA, including the Front Desk, Alive After Five, Family Fun Day, Docent tours, Summer Art Academy, Second Sunday Art Activity, and various administrative tasks, each a unique and important volunteer service area. In this temporary exhibition, we honor the volunteers’ artistic achievements, emphasizing that their creative contributions are vital to the Knoxville Museum of Art’s ever-evolving story. We thank these remarkable individuals for sharing their artistic talents and enriching our cultural landscape.
Featured Artists: Carmen Alcocer, Jim Anderson, Regis Ann Borsari, Ken Cagle, Susan Dominick, Liliana Foust, Harriet Glasman, Laurel Haynes, Cara Huskey, Joan Judd, Hyeji Lee, Melissa Major, and Ami Weave
