Knoxville Museum of Art Unveils 2024-2025 Soundscapes Concert Series

The Knoxville Museum of Art (KMA) is excited to announce the 2024-2025 season of its acclaimed Soundscapes concert series. A unique fusion of music and visual art, this monthly series continues to enchant audiences with intimate performances by renowned musicians and emerging talents amidst the museum’s art and architecture. Attendees enjoy world-class performances in an acoustically enhanced setting surrounded by the museum’s celebrated exhibitions, including the monumental permanent installation Cycle of Life: Within the Power of Dreams and the Wonder of Infinity.

Season Highlights
The 2024-2025 Soundscapes season features a stellar lineup:

Program Curator Brian Clay is an incredibly accomplished pianist & vocalist known for his versatility in multiple genres. With more than 7 collaborative and solo CD releases, Brian has established himself as a prolific artist. He is passionate about sharing music & the performing arts with young people and students, particularly those interested in exploring music & music industry careers. In addition to his music career, Brian is a veteran radio broadcaster, hosting a syndicated radio show that airs in 4 cities across the country and streams online worldwide.

“We are thrilled to present the new season of Soundscapes at the KMA, and celebrate the inspiring energy with which this series infuses the Museum,” says KMA Executive Director Steven Matijcio. “Brian Clay continues to do an outstanding job of bringing art and music together in the most soulful and vibrant ways.” Concertgoers can enjoy complimentary access to KMA’s exhibitions until 8:00 PM. A cash bar and food from local vendors will also be available, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. Tickets for Soundscapes are $25 for non-members and $20 for KMA members. Proceeds directly support the museum, its educational programs, and exhibitions.
