Costumed Drawing with Clarence Brown Theatre
Costumed Drawing with Clarence Brown Theatre
KMA is partnering with the Clarence Brown Theatre to present a unique and inspiring costumed drawing event. Clarence Brown Theatre’s Costume Shop Manager, Melissa Caldwell-Weddig, and Sense and Sensibility Costume Designer, Tori Niemiec, will give a brief talk about the upcoming production of Jane Austen’s beloved story, set in 18th-century England and adapted by Kate Hamill. Following the talk, actors in costumes from the play will pose for an open drawing session for visitors of all ages and skill levels. Attendees are welcome to bring their own drawing and sketching materials; a limited supply will be available for general use.
FREE and open to the public!
