March 26, 2013 (Knoxville, TN) — The 2013 Artists on Location, presented by the Guild of the Knoxville Museum of Art, is calling for artists to create works of art on location in the Knoxville area between May 8 and 11, 2013 and then exhibit those works at the museum May 11 in an exhibition and sale
This year’s featured artist, Brett Weaver, a nationally recognized plein-air painter, will give a painting demo Friday May 10 at 7pm at the KMA. The demonstration is free to participants and $10 for visitors.

The Knoxville Museum of Art
The KMA celebrates the art and artists of East Tennessee, presents new art and new ideas, serves and educates diverse audiences, and enhances Knoxville’s quality of life. The museum is located in downtown Knoxville at 1050 World’s Fair Park and is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday 10 am–5 pm and Sunday 1 pm-5 pm. Admission and parking are free.
