The Knoxville Museum of Art Announces New Board Officers and Members

July 11, 2019

July 11, 2019 (Knoxville, TN) – The Knoxville Museum of Art is pleased to announce the election of new board officers and new board members.  Knoxville attorney Caesar Stair IV began his two-year term as chair on July 1, taking over from former chair Allison Lederer. Julia Bentley has been confirmed as the new chair elect and will begin her term as chair in 2022.

Joining the KMA board for the first time are Louis Gauci, Mollie Joy, and Angela Masini. Returning for their second three-year term are Pamela Chips, Beauvais Lyons, Patricia Brake Rutenberg, and Taylor Wortham.

“The support of committed and engaged stakeholders with deep roots in the community is vital for any successful organization, and the KMA has benefitted from a long history of outstanding volunteer leadership,” said KMA Executive Director David Butler.  “We are so thrilled to have Caesar IV at the helm. His father, Caesar Stair III, was the KMA’s founding board chair and one of the key players in getting the museum off the ground three decades ago. We are fortunate that the KMA continues to benefit from a great family tradition of community leadership and service.”
