Parking
Free parking is available in the large lot on the north side of the staff parking lot, as well as at the lot across the street from the museum (first right on World’s Fair Park Drive). Metered parking is available on the street.
Accessibility
KMA is fully accessible to persons using wheelchairs. Wheelchairs are available for loan at the museum information desk. Accommodations for persons with other disabilities can be requested by contacting the museum at 865.525.6101.
Photoshoot Policy
The Knoxville Museum of Art is happy to accommodate photoshoots during our normal operating hours, subject to availability. Photoshoots conducted outside of normal operating hours require an hourly rental fee. All photoshoot sessions must be scheduled in advance and must have the required paperwork approved prior to the session. Walk-in photoshoots without prior approval may be denied or asked to conclude if they conflict with other scheduled activities or policies. For photoshoot inquiries or to reserve a time, please contact our Facility Rental Coordinator, Selena Williford, at smwilliford@knoxart.org. We look forward to helping make your photoshoot a success!
Unfortunately, we have to decline all prom photo sessions, out of respect for planned events that are taking place at the museum.
Filming Policy
Visitors are welcome to capture short videos for personal social media use at the Knoxville Museum of Art, provided they do not disrupt other guests or exhibits. To ensure the privacy and comfort of our staff, however, guests are not permitted to film or record Knoxville Museum of Art employees, volunteers or fellow patrons without their explicit consent. This policy helps maintain a respectful and professional environment for both our visitors and team members. Failure to cooperate with this policy may result in being asked to leave the museum. Thank you for your cooperation.
Firearm Policy
No firearms or weapons are allowed on this property. As authorized by T.C.A. Section 39-17-1359.
