Artists on Location 2026

The Guild of the Knoxville Museum of Art presents Artist on Location, a plein-air painting event. Talented artists throughout the United States will paint in and around the Knoxville area April 20-24. On Friday, April 24, the artists’ paintings will be exhibited and sold at the museum. The artists will be on hand to talk to you about their paintings. Cash Bar and Hors D’oeuvres will be available.

  ARTISTS ON LOCATION PRESENTS “LA PETITE SHOW”

  The Guild of the Knoxville Museum of Art is pleased to introduce a new addition to this year’s Artists on Location festivities. La Petite Show will take place on the Saturday following the Friday evening Artists on Location Art Show and Sale and will feature original 5″ x 7″ works created by each participating plein-air artist.

  Designed with accessibility in mind, La Petite Show offers an inviting entry point for new and emerging collectors, as well as young art enthusiasts beginning their collecting journey. The smaller scale allows visitors to acquire original artwork at a more approachable price point while still celebrating the creativity and craftsmanship of Artists on Location painters. The remaining artwork from Friday evening will also be available for purchase.

  Proceeds of art sales will benefit both participating artists and the Knoxville Museum of Art. Artists on Location is organized by the Guild of the Knoxville Museum of Art.
