Cattywampus Open Studio Day

Puppet and Merriment Making Cattywampus Open Studio Day!

Cattywampus will be back to help KMA prepare for our very own Mini-Parade in July. Saturday, June 27th Cattywampus will lead an Open Studio Day from 11am-2pm at the KMA. This is a family friendly activity where visitors of all ages can make a puppet (big or small), a noisemaker, or a unique instrument to take home and bring back for our mini-parade. Cattywampus instructors will be present to guide you on your creative journey during this drop-in open studio time. Supplies will be provided. Everyone is welcome! No registration required.

Save your creations and come back to KMA the morning of Saturday, July 11th to participate in KMA’s first Mini-Parade with Cattywampus! Carry your small puppet or noisemaker, bring your giant puppet from a previous parade, and follow the leader through the museum’s grounds as we celebrate the art of puppets at the end of the Wayne White: Revenge of the Knoxville Girl exhibition and celebrate the Tennessee Triennial Weekend.
