Finding Higher Ground: Beauford at the Bistro at the Bijou

What happens when you mix art, jazz, and fine cuisine in an intimate downtown setting? Beauford at the Bistro at the Bijou!

This special event at Bistro at the Bijou in collaboration with the Knoxville Museum of Art is designed to offer guests a memorable evening of live jazz performed by the Greg Tardy Quartet and gumbo based on Knoxville-born modernist painter Beauford Delaney’s very own recipe. This celebration of Delaney’s life is part of the KMA’s series “Finding Higher Ground”, which seeks to explore and expand upon the rich history of the visual arts told in the museum’s ongoing exhibition, Higher Ground: A Century of the Visual Arts in East Tennessee.

The Bistro will seat dinner guests according to its regular seating chart and capacity; tables are first-come, first-served. Please note: Guests will be responsible for the cost of their own dinner and drinks. Thank you to the Bistro at the Bijou for hosting this event.
