Wire Car Cruise with Artist Chido Johnson

Wire Car Cruise with Artist Chido Johnson

Join us at the Knoxville Museum of Art for a unique and inspiring event featuring artist Chido Johnson! The event begins with a Wire Car Cruise outside the KMA as UT students and teachers who have already created wire cars are invited to participate. The public is welcome to watch and cheer on the participants as they showcase their creative designs. After the cruise, enjoy a coffee break with complimentary coffee and snacks while connecting with other attendees. The highlight of the event is a public talk by the artist in the Regal Commons at 11:30 am. Chido will share insights into the wire car project and his other artistic work, followed by an open Q&A session. The event will wrap up with an invitation to explore the States of Becoming exhibition for a deeper look into the creative process. Seating is limited to 60 people, so arrive early to secure your spot.
