Awards Reception 21st Annual East Tennessee Regional Student Art Exhibition

Tuesday, December 8, 2026
6:00-8:00pm

Join us in celebrating the 21st Annual East Tennessee Regional Student Art Exhibition, presented by the Knoxville Museum of Art. The ETRSAE showcases the strength and diversity of art education programs in East Tennessee, celebrates talented middle and high school students, and supports arts education. This annual exhibition provides the opportunity for students to participate in a juried exhibition and to have their artworks displayed in a professional art museum environment. We are so delighted by the quality of the artworks, the dedication of the teachers, and the commitment of the museum staff to establish a museum and school tradition for our community.

Enjoy browsing the galleries, catered refreshments, and listening to performances by local high school students before the Awards Ceremony.

The Awards presentation begins at 6:45 with remarks from:
Steven Matijcio, David L Butler Executive Director, Knoxville Museum of Art
Sherry Jenkins, Executive Director of Dogwood Arts
Jim Dodson, City of Oak Ridge Mayor Pro Tem and Student Art Exhibition Co-organizer

Galleries are open from 5-8pm.
