Everyone has a story to tell, and every story can become a song!

Join Music for Seniors for a fun, interactive songwriting workshop with gifted songwriter and teaching artist Bill Cabage, sponsored by the Tennessee Arts Commission and hosted by the Knoxville Museum of Art.

Participants will learn the basic elements of songwriting while contributing their own ideas, stories, and creativity to the collaborative creation of an original song. Working together with Bill, the group will develop the song’s lyrics and music throughout the workshop.

By the end of the session, participants will have created a song together and will perform it as a group, led by the teaching artist.

No songwriting experience is necessary. Just bring your stories, ideas, and imagination!

Free with advance registration. Space is limited. Registration is conducted through Music for Seniors.
